Don’t mess with Texas … ?

Well, it’s going on day five of me being in Houston, TX. So far I love it. It’s been raining since Saturday though, and looks like it will continue to rain for the rest of the week. I don’t really mind because I love rain, and it just makes me want to stay in doors.

I’m still waiting for a call back from Alex (#216) in regards to what department he’s going to put me in, and what day I will start. This little mini-vacation is lovely and all, but damn I’m getting really bored of just sitting around all day, or spending my money. I hate spending my money.

Not only that but I want to start getting paid money that I will be able to save towards getting my apartment. Since I’ll be living in with my grandparents for awhile, I won’t have to worry about paying for rent, bills, and groceries. Which means the main thing I will be spending my money on for sure will be gas, and of course paying my dad back a little bit of money here and there for helping me out with everything over the years.

Tomorrow I’m not sure what I’m doing but I think Rem and I are going to hang out again, so that will most definitely be some fun right there… But I really don’t know what the fuck there is to do that doesn’t involve spending money. Mebbe I’ll drag him into a BB store with me so I can just check out the place and sneak around it and see how some of the people are at the store I’d be going into.

I know Wednesday is the AMD/Microsoft Tech Tour and we’re definitely going to that one. That is also the day that my lovely mom and little sister fly into town. I’m not looking forward to it that much because my mom has a tendency to drive me absolutely fucking batty. However, it’ll be good to see her since it’s been a year since we last saw each other. I also hope she’ll praise my independence by saying yes to taking me shopping for a few new clothes for work (tan pants, bras, undies) or for whatever occasion.

I also need to get back to working on Holdfire Web Hosting. Today is really the first day since I moved that I’ve been online for more then thirty minutes, but the only thing that’s preventing me from working on it is being on dial up. We’re getting DSL, but it won’t be for a few more days, so hopefully I can try to get some stuff done in the meantime.

Sleep is looking really good right now..

  1. I hope that you get that phone call soon so you don’t go crazy. I can’t sit around with nothing to do because it would drive me absolutely insane! I swear, even if I won like 250million in the lotto I’d still have to work just to keep myself active during the day.

    Good Luck getting everything together.

  8. hey — I know this isnt one of those “sincere omgireadyourentireblogentrynowletmemake1commentoneverparagraphy” comments..but I’ve never come across anybody else who is a fan of Explosions in the Sky! When I saw that on your playlist I almost died. I LOVE THEM. They are really amazing. I love “Yasmin the light” and “greet death”…those are both from those who tell the truth shall live forever, those who tell the truth shall die…which is my favorite album by them! I own that albums and I also own The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place. My favorite song is probably “have you passed through this night”, with the soldiers marching and stuff..its really awesome. I love that their songs are so long too. Have you heard the rumor about the message inside the cd album?

anyways, very very very cool. You get 2768736 cool points from me. I can tell just by your music selection that you are an awesome person!

  9. OH THANK YOU FOR HOSTING ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Whats that new thing added to the cpalen. Bee or something? has a bunch of dots. :S

Do you have a button or banner or anything to promote hold fire yet?
