I’m horribly obsessed with wanting to own an Apple. I have awful credit so I would never get approved for financing on a laptop. I’ve resorted to signing up for one of those “do an offer, refer friends to do an offer, and get this for free!” deals. I know I may never get it doing those offers, but it can’t hurt to try out. I might even offer free domain/hosting or paypal some money to those who sign up under me.

Worse case scenerio: I wait until the summer and beg my parents to let me use their credit, and I’ll pay off the laptop on my own. I doubt that’d happen.

Well good luck with the offer. That’s sad that you think your credit is that bad. You can always try to ask your parents or other family members for help? Save up some money from birthdays and other holidays. Get a job? heh.

Wow, okay so where to start with this comment. Honestly, I don’t need any pity towards my credit, or at least any kind of condescending comments.
Did you even read my entry? I mentioned resorting to asking my parents to finance it for me, and I’d pay the payments. And the “get a job?” Yeah, I do have a job already. Thanks for the useless comment.
That’ll be the best decision you make… computer-wise. Buying my powerbook was definitely the best thing I’ve done for myself in the materialistic sense. I’ve never had a problem and I’ve been using it for a year and a half so far.
