He’s pretty fantastic.

The weather for the past two days have been amazing. Yesterday it was in the lower 60’s, and today it was in the mid 70’s. Gorgeous enough that for the first time since October, I retired [temporarily] my black sweatshirt that has been permanently glued to my skin. Other than that I haven’t been up to much, except just tidying my new room around.

Mark came over earlier today. It was a surprise because I hadn’t told him to come over, but around quarter to seven I got a call from the butthead saying that I needed to let him into the house in a few, since he was right around the corner. We just lazied around as usual, and watched some tv. Then we headed out to grab some ice cream from the Creamery, which opened up on the 9th. Came back home, and ended up watching Monsters, Inc.

As he was leaving I ended up putting on The Mothman Prophecies. Which was a mistake. Now, don’t get me wrong, I really love horror, thriller, and sci-fi movies but there are some out there that will leave me creeped out beyond belief and have me turning on lights before I go into a room. It’s played back-to-back so the second showing of it is halfway through. I’ve got the light on next to me, but I still can’t help but feel like someone is behind me, especially considering that behind me is the door to go outside, and there’s no shades on it.

I love it when I creep myself out. Hell, walking to the bathroom was a bit of a heart beat accelerator, since I had to pass by the patio doors (which hello, first scene of Scream!)

  1. OMG, I felt the same way about The Mothman Prophecies!!! I LOVE Horror Movies, but this one REALLY freaked me out! I couldn’t sleep for over a week and still I sometimes feel a bit ehm… watched. I’m also afraid to look in the mirror, afraid he stand behind me… god, I have goosebumps right now! I don’t think I will ever watch it again, but maybe I should, maybe it wouldn’t freak me out as much.
    Anyways ^_^

  2. Wow!Scream had me being away from windows for a long time!!I didn’t want to know what’s out there.

I love watching horror movies but just can’t sleep after that cause I’m too scared. And of course all the lights in the house need to be turned on!!

I’ve never seen The Mothman Prophecies and I’m not going to!Not after what you wrote in your blog lol.I think I’d be to creeped out.

  3. I’ve never heard of that movie but thanks for the heads up. I’m not going to watch it now lol. I don’t like horror movies. Some are okay and I can deal with but for the most part I stay away from them lol. And as for my period, this is the only time it’s been irregular. Birth control is what I’m going on, thats what the doctors appointment is for. It’s for my first annual, I should have gotten it done a long time ago since I’ve been sexually active for a little over two years but I had just gotten insurance last September and then I called maybe a month later and the earliest appointment they had was January. Went in for that one and she (the doctor) just talked to me about my history and stuff like that and made another appointment for the annual. I still have to finish getting my blood done. I have nine or ten tests to get done and they only did a couple since they couldn’t find my veins and took two vials worth from my hand and it hurt like hell so that’s why I’m putting off the appointment since I should do the blood work before the appointment. Speaking of the blood thing, I think I lost the papers for that, lol. I’m so not organized right now, but I think that will be tomorrow since I finally cleaned the whole house the past two days. Sorry for the very long comment, it just seemed like you were an easy person to talk to but thanks for the comment! 🙂

  4. I apologize for the second comment but I just wanted to say that I read all your pages and I read that you lived in Indiana and born in Chicago. I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and my mom was born and raised in Indiana as well. And I’ve been to Chicago before. The last time I was there was the summer after 8th grade and I’m almost 20 so that was a long time ago lol. We moved to Florida when I was six years old so yeah that’s pretty cool so just thought I’d mention it!

Hehe, I’ve never been that scared from a movie before. Sounds like you should stay away from watching this movie again though! =P

Yeah, Scream definitely got into a couple of my friends. Mainly just the whole patio sliding doors, because with the kitchen light on, you can’t see outside. So whenever they’d walk past, they’d see their own reflection and get creeped out.. That and the same here and at my old house, we didn’t have any kind of curtain over the doors. D:

hmmm wow. i love your site -patrick

    Thanks Patrick.

No worries about the second comment, it’s fine. I’ve never been to Fort Wayne, but when I lived in Indiana, it as the the southern most part of the state, 2 miles north of Louisville, KY. 😀
