I have some inspiration.

I’m not sure what spiked this but I’ve been in the mood to change various aspects of my life as of late. I recently bought myself a cheaper version of the Ab Lounge so that I could get in fit, and obtain my goal of losing up to 75lbs by May of this year. What is also going to help is that I found an awesome website, traineo.com. It’ll definitely help me with tracking everything. I wanted to start today, but I really didn’t get around to assembling the chair, nor even working out. But I’m making up for that by making sure I don’t eat any crap foods today.

Along with wanting to get fit, and eating healthier, I’ve been working on Holdfire Network‘s redesign. The coding is 100% done, but I need to add more graphics to it, and finish up the rest of the content pages. Then I shall release the beast to the public. I can’t wait. Business with it has been quite slow as I haven’t been promoting for it at all since the beginning of December. So since I’ve been out of work, I’ve been posting about it a bit more, but right now I just need to get some adverts up for it, and then just advertise for it more than ever.

With the coding done for Holdfire, I’ve been looking at atourworst.org more and more as of late and I realized how much I hate the coding for this website. So expect some live edits of everything. I’m going to change up a few little things, but then I’m going to be reworking on the site itself. Even though I’m well aware of a few WordPress plugins for SEO, I found a few more from Devlounge‘s article, Plugins For A Search Enginle Friendly WordPress Blog which listed plugins ranging from permalinks (which I’ve had set up since.. well, forever!), to the use of tags to help with blog search engines, like Technorati.

I would still like to implement something here though, that will either increase visitor loyality, or bring in a bit more traffic. In turn I’d like the new traffic to bring in more traffic and revenue to Holdfire. So, fire away!

We All Know Art Is Hard

I’m starting to lose my interest in having a personal site. Who knows, maybe I just need to get new visitors (or people that comment?) or something, but for now let’s just say that I’m taking a slight break from here. It won’t last that long.

If you’re a semi/daily visitor to this site, what keeps you coming back?

Nintendo Wii Media Center

Today I found my new favorite site, Red Kawa.com, after reading about their “release” of a Nintendo Wii Media Center.

Our free media centers allow you to stream certain types of media from your computer to your Nintendo Wii and also let you download files to your PlayStation 3 (PS3) hard drive over your wired or wireless computer network.

The one downfall that I’m coming across right now is that your media has to be stored under the program’s directory (“C:Program FilesRed KawaMedia Center” as opposed to being able to state what directory you want to be listed. For now I’m going to test it out and see how it plays with my wireless network (which is 54mpbs.(

Right now I’m converting the pilot episode for The Office from season one, to the format necessary (.FLV I believe) so I can see how it works, and if it’s worth even using. Even if that doesn’t pan out, I have my X-Box back now, so I’ll end up modding that to be my media center instead. I’ve been wanting to do that for awhile, and with all the media files I currently have, I really need to do that. I’m tired of watching movies/tv shows on my computer.

Edit: I also came across another similar service, but works more like Slingbox, and it’s not just for the Wii either: Mycast.Orb.com.

Oh and in case you want to Miingle, my Wiimail is:
w8862042694855311 _at_ wii.com.

Another year goes by.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already 2007. My New Year’s Eve was pretty fantastic.

As of late I’ve been really obsessed with:

  1. libble.com
  2. oink.me.uk
  3. volumize.lj.com
  4. mintpages.net

I’m also going to set myself a goal to lose some weight, and get a bit more fit. About to go jump in the shower to get ready to head out to Dick’s Sports Good to see what kind of Ab roller/things they’ve got, and possibly head out to Best Buy to pick up a hard drive. My copy of SUSE finished up last night, so I plan on running XP/ SUSE on it, and then the drive I have right now, wipe off the OS and other files so that it’s strictly a media drive.

Might as well considering I don’t work at all right now.

Wii have just begun.

I managed to pick up a Wii today, all thanks to my new loverly boyfriend, Mark, who went out of his way to obtain it while he was at work. Nicolle was very excited to play it. I haven’t gotten a chance to fuddle with it, but when I wake up tomorrow, I’ll tinker on it before I head out to work.

Work, has also been the number one thing I’ve been dreading since I sprained my ankle. I think I’m going to put in my two weeks this weekend, not sure. I’d rather have a job before I quit, but if I have to go that route, better believe I will.

Other then that, I can’t believe 2006 is almost over. Then it’s only 6 months until I finally turn 21. Oh boy.
