The other day I finally got ahold of an invite for Virb.com which is run by Unborn Media, who happened to create Purevolume. I’m in love with it, and even more obsessed with it then I was when I first got on myspace. I love the sleek design, the back end, and how everything is set up. It’s still a new baby, so it’s pretty bare (considering that it’s invite based too) so it’s not crowded yet.

I love the fact that you’re able to tweak the style of your profile with the actual stylesheet; Not that cock-and-bull styling by sticking it in your “About Me.” You also have the option to create extra modules, track songs with Virbtune (think last.fm built in, but virb.style). It screams Web 2.0 which I happen to be a sucker for.

Also, sorry for my site being down from 3AM CST to 2AM CST. I had some Apache httpd issues that I needed to sort out and well, yeah, that’s why it was down. It sucked too, but you know what, it happens.

That’s right, I’m talking about Valentine’s Day. It’s coming up in oh, three and a half weeks? I can’t say that I’ve ever truly hated this Hallmark holiday. Most of them I’ve been single, and very few of them I’ve actually gone out for them, actually scratch that. I’ve only ever done something on Valentine’s Day (eg: dinner, etc.) once and that was last year. Although I never really care for such cheesy things though I won’t ever deny that I’d still enjoy them no less.

With that being said, I’m the kind of girl that wants the person I like to feel like he’s on top of the world, and that he’s someone that means a lot to me. So I’ve already been trying to come up with something to do for Mark. I’m not going to do anything crazy or over the top. I was actually thinking about making something for him, much like the Bloo (from Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends) trash can I made, just because I wanted to. I’m not really sure what the hell to make or even where to start.

All I know is that I’m just so happy with almost everything right now. I know I keep saying it, but I can’t help it. God, I’m probably annoying most of my readers right now, mushing on about my feelings for Mark and whatnot. Now if only I could just focus more on obtaining a new job, then everything would be set! On that note, I’m going to go ahead and go to sleep. I’ve tried to pay attention to the finishing touches for the redesign I’ve been working on, but just haven’t been able to.. Need to just go to sleep, get up tomorrow and run out to a few places to toss out some resumes and applications.

Oh, but back to Valentine’s Day, please do share some ideas on what I should make. I’m actually thinking of.. well.. hell, I’m not that stupid Mark, I’m not going to write about it where you can read it! =P

This is going to be a short and simple update: Everyone, at one point in their lives, should go to see Medieval Times. I had a lot of fun; It’s even better if you bring the loudest friends you have possible, because maybe, just maybe your knight will bask in the limelight and show off a little 🙂 Or hell, throw you a rose which you end up missing! So with that said, I went last night and had such a great time. I want to go again.

Sticking to the short and simple, take a visit to wpdesigner.com. Small Potato (his nickname, isn’t that something?) is working on a goal of one theme a day for 31 (and counting) days. So far he’s completed four themes. His themes thus far are titled: Peacful Rush, Vengeance, Dream On, and Exhausted. View all of his themes and leave him some much needed comments, critiques and chant him on so he has the motivation to go through with his self-challenge.

This week has quite possibly been one of the best weeks of the year thus far. And to think that it’s only the third week in! Sunday I was over at Mark’s for a bit watching the 2 hour premiere of 24, and just spent time with him. Aside from that, it’ll definitely be a date I’m marking down as special, though I won’t quite get into it. I wrote about it in my livejournal however, so if you’re lucky enough to be a friend of mine there, you’ll have read it (or at least I hope so!) already.

Despite the fact that I am currently unemployed, I’m the so happy right now that I couldn’t ask for anything more. Most of it is due to the fact that I’m just elated at how well this relationship with Mark is right now. We haven’t spoken much in regards to “us” but after I sent him an e-mail with my latest journal entry, we actually talked about “us” and a few other things. Even though I had a feeling that things were good, it doesn’t hurt to also hear the other people speak of it. Not that I needed reassurance, it just good hearing it, you know? I’m just very excited, elated, and ecstatic with how things have been with Mark. I love how things have progressed with this relationship–I love that things started off slow, and just kind flowed into where we’re at now. He’s happy, I’m happy.

Though since I’ve been employed, the only things I’ve been doing lately has been hanging out with Mark most of the time. However I do have something to start working on. One of my IRC friends Adam gave me a webdesign project for one of his clients. I’m going to be redoing his website and will hopefully be gaining him as a client for Holdfire Network as well as future design projects. Hopefully things work out, because then I’ll have some money coming in, and this is something I can add to my portfolio.

Jem, I will never depart with my dearest Wii. Especially when I am going to have Wario Ware: Smooth Moves in my hands this week!

Also, if my terd boyfriend comes over tomorrow, expect to see some pictures of us. I told him the other night that I really wanted some pictures of us, since I’m a sucker for things like that, so hopefully he’ll cave into whatever kind of pose I want. I’m totally thinking some pictures of me giving him a smoochy on the cheek is necessary and aw worthy. Oh yeah, I also won a free copy of haveamint.com from wpboard.com today. Since I already have it here on atourworst.org, I went ahead and added it to Holdfire.net.
